Mr. Rutenbar joined IES Engineers in 2002 after a career spanning more than 23 years in the petroleum refining and chemical industry. During his career, Mr. Rutenbar held positions at Sunoco, Inc., and ICI Americas that included Engineering and Construction Manager, Engineering and Reliability Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Operations Manager.

He has extensive experience in plant design, plant reliability, code review, equipment installation, maintenance, construction, turnaround management, remediation, and process operation. At IES, Mr. Rutenbar is responsible for executing and managing the engineering, design, construction, and design/build activities for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and other industrial sectors.
